ruins that date back to the 1200's and was added to in years to follow. Many historical battles have occurred here.
Movies have even been filmed here, so you may recognize it. It is one of the most famous Northern Ireland castles.

is a rope bridge that connects the main land and a small island called Carrick. The island does not have fences on
its cliffs, so caution must be used. This island offers another spectacular view. If you are brave enough to cross
the rope bridge, you will enjoy this amazing setting. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is more fun for the whole
family.
The Old Bushmills Distillery is another historic site you can visit if you are looking to learn
about the history and heritage of Northern Ireland. Founded in 1608 and was first licensed by King James. Now owned
by a drinks company called Diageo, it is a major tourist attraction with over a hundred thousand visitors per year.
This is the only distillery offering tours that actually is still producing whiskey. When you take the tour of the
facilities the tour ends with a taste of the famous whiskey. If you are a whiskey lover this could be the highlight
of your vacation.
